Just a Little Push
In grade school, we were always guided in our art projects by a sample from last
year’s class. My work never matched the quality of the examples.
So, when DKG initiated its Arts Gallery, I never considered making a
submission…I knew in advance the results…or so I thought.
Then the founder and committee chair started to “push” me as an encouraging
sister. I knew the results, but I wanted to honor the recurring petition of a dear
friend.
I visited the web site and learned the guidelines.
Applications are received January
1 – February 1 and again August 1 – September 1. (deltakappagamma.org – Arts
and Humanities Jury).
There is a link to the Gallery on the home page. Click and enjoy a visit to a real,
juried exhibit.
In fact, there are a few surprises….I challenge you to submit in one or more
categories.

Yes, I am giving you all a “gentle push.”
