MN (Tau State) was the first state organization to champion the DKG Men’s Auxiliary and works to keep it involved in our events. Many men support our work in the local chapters, as they have done for years. Members, please encourage your male support to attend the conference. Please share this information with him/them.
This year the group will again have a presence at the state conference.
The online posting indicates that the men will meet in the lobby at 8:30am to discuss options. Two members, Barry and Vic, would like to offer a couple of concrete options-plans prior to arriving – to initiate planning.
Barry and Vic will be there at 8:30am to learn of additional options but would like to open the discussion before that….
In the morning (departing about 9:30am), drive through the Minneopa State Park and see the bison that have been reintroduced to the 330-acre park. (Probably need a permit for a state park—car pooling advantage). They would stop for lunch enroute to the Schell Brewery, the second-oldest family owned brewery in the country, in New Ulm. Tours are hourly on Saturday afternoons--$3.00 tickets. Barry would be the designated driver if anyone would like to sample after the tour.
They would return to Mankato in time for the dinner and program on Saturday evening.
If anyone has a question or other ideas, please respond to Barry: [email protected]
